Abstract
Ordered carbon nanotubes (OCNTs), which was synthesized within the highly ordered pores of an alumina template membrane, were used to modify a glassy carbon (OCNT/GC) electrode. The OCNT/GC electrode showed potent electrocatalytic activity toward the electrochemical oxidation of NADH in phosphate buffer solution (pH 6.8) with a diminution of the overpotential of 645 mV. The anodic peak currents increase linearly with the concentration of NADH in the range of 2×10−5 to 1×10−3 M with a detection limit of 5×10−7 M (at a S/N=3).
