Investigation the Relationship between Conflict and Dialectical Contradiction among Well-adjusted Couples

This study was performed to examine the relationship between conflict and dialectical contradiction among well-adjusted couples. This research was descriptive as from of correlation and statistical population was normal couples of Ardabil City. Among them twenty three couples were selected with multistep cluster sampling method. Research tools were including Dyadic Adjustment Scale (DAS), Marital Conflict Questionnaire (MCQ) and Dialectical Contradiction Questionnaire (DCQ). Data were analyzed using the Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression method. Results showed that from all contradictions, stability - change contradictions and - can predict maladjustment between couples. Also there was significant positive relationship in level of correlation between couples conflict and contradiction (r=0.56, p < 0.01). And among contradictions, contradict of - were significantly correlation with the majority conflicts (6 of 7 conflicts).
