Abstract :
A hybrid formulation is developed to couple finite elements and an integral equation method to solve the open problem of time-domain scattering in two dimensions. The formulation is developed for both TM and TE modes and is applicable to scatterers that may be inhomogeneous and of arbitrary shape.
