Nano and microcomposites of polymers elastomers and their reinforcement

Filler for elastomeric compounds, i.e.: carbon blacks, and since a few years silicas, are very good examples of nano particles imparting a compound a high level technical, mechanical and usage properties. The paper describes this “reinforcement” phenomenon and its interperpration by nano surface interactions.
