Abstract :
In this paper, the study of the CO2 vaporization in both conventional tubes as in mini-channels is presented. An experimental database of CO2 boiling heat transfer in mini-channel has been realized and a predictive model of heat transfer coefficient of the CO2 vaporization in the mini-channel has been developed. This model is validated using a constructed experimental database for horizontal flows and covering the operating conditions of an automotive air conditioning CO2 evaporator.
