Negative excess noise in ballistic conductors

We have investigated the current and voltage noise in space-charge-limited ballistic conductors under the nonlinear high-bias conditions. We have found that an interacting via Coulomb forces electron system may be less noisy at far-from-equilibrium conditions than in equilibrium.
