Abstract :
A method for the calculation of a large number of Coulomb integrals among quantum dot states given in the envelope function plane wave representation was presented. The efficiency of the method was achieved by performing a calculation in k-space. The degree of accuracy can be systematically improved by increasing the embedding box that defines the k-space grid or by introducing the several lowest order corrections in the multipole expansion of the Coulomb integral.
