Quantum ion-acoustic wave oscillations in image molecule

In this letter, we study the electron–ion quantum plasma oscillations in C60 molecule using the linearized quantum hydrodynamic model in conjunction with the Poissonʹs equation. We obtain a new low-frequency electrostatic excitation in the C60 molecule, i.e., quantum ion-acoustic wave oscillations in addition to the high-frequency dispersion.
