Carrier capture and intra-dot Auger relaxation in quantum dots

We present calculations of the LO phonon-assisted capture and of intra-dot Auger relaxation in InAs–GaAs quantum dots. We apply these microscopic calculations to the evaluation of quantum yields in steady-state luminescence.
