Abstract :
We carried out time-resolved magneto-photoluminescence experiments in diluted magnetic semiconducting Cd1−xMnxTe MBE grown epilayers to study the excitonic localization mechanisms. We found that, for samples with a high non-radiative recombination rate, the luminescence intensity and the decay time decrease significantly under a magnetic field. This shows that the magnetic localization dominates over the non-magnetic localization when magnetic polarons are formed.
