Abstract :
We report on the linear response of cavity-polariton states and elastic scattering effects. We discuss the effects of disorder and phonon scattering on reflectivity and transmission and its consequence on the elastic scattering of light on high quality samples. Possible coherent backscattering effects are also investigated.
