Performance of general transmitter induced cyclostationarity precoders: analysis based on a MMSE-DF receiver

The effect of a filterbank precoder on Shannonʹs capacity is considered. Simple asymptotic expressions are derived. Analytical comparisons between various schemes that show how crucial the excess bandwidth factor is are provided. The results are illustrated by computer simulations.
