Abstract :
Time-resolved photoluminescence (PL) near Fermi level is measured in a bias-voltage-induced quantum dot lattice, where the PL peak has been widely known to be originated from Fermi-edge singularity (FES). It is suggested from the dependencies of lifetimes on temperatures, applied magnetic fields, and bias voltage, that the peak is mainly due to radiative relaxation process of a hole.
