Abstract :
Electron propagation through quantum dot arrays is simulated by self-consistently solving Schrödinger and Poisson equations. A stabilized variant of the transfer matrix approach is used to obtain the electronic states. Effects of electrostatic potential on the transport characteristic are discussed.
