Abstract :
We discuss device concepts for creating spin-polarized current sources without external magnetic fields, using non-magnetic View the MathML source semiconductor resonant tunneling structures. Spin filters, spin pumps, and spin transistors that exploit structural and bulk inversion asymmetries will be examined.
