Abstract
The high-pressure and high temperature studies were carried out on nanophase Aurivillius oxides Bi2VO5 and Bi2VO5.5 which were prepared by mechanochemical activation method. The oxides synthesized by this method are amorphous in nature. The electrical resistivity measurements were carried out at high pressure by using the Bridgman opposed anvil device and heating was done using an external heating system. At high pressure it is observed that the nanomaterial transform from amorphous to crystalline phase.
