Response of one-dimensional Wigner crystal to an external field

We study the effect of the pair interactions range on the density–density correlations of Luttinger model in the presence of an external field. If long range interactions are considered, then the Wigner crystal structure, characteristic of the field-free system, is not substantially modified.
