Abstract :
We present transport spectroscopy of an atomic force microscope engraved quantum point contact in perpendicular magnetic field. The experimental results are analyzed using theoretical models describing transport through ballistic point contacts. For moderate magnetic fields we can state that our result are consistent with the theoretical results. For higher magnetic fields we observe a behavior that cannot be described by single-particle theory.
