Citation-based retrieval for scholarly publications

Scholarly publications are available online and in digital libraries, but existing search engines are mostly ineffective for these publications. The proposed publication retrieval system is based on Kohonenʹs self-organizing map and offers fast retrieval speeds and high precision in terms of relevance.
