Reactivity of silicon clusters Original Research Article

The reactivity of silicon clusters towards ammonia is investigated under consideration of atomic charges and dipole moments. It is shown that for the interpretation of reactivity and selectivity at a nucleophilic attack by ammonia the cumulative atomic dipole moments are needed besides the atomic charges.
