Abstract :
Recent experiments employing two-beam four-wave mixing on bulk GaAs exhibited oscillations of the transient four-wave mixing signal which were explained in terms of the non-Markovian quantum kinetics for electron-hole pairs due to LO-phonon scattering. The three-beam four-wave mixing geometry provides another test of the quantum kinetic theory.
