Abstract :
CdS nanorods were successfully synthesized through CS2 reacting with CdCl2 and ethylenediamine in aqueous solution. The as-obtained samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and ultraviolet–visible (UV–VIS) absorption. The growth kinetics of the CdS nanorods was discussed.
