Abstract :
Effects of PbO–B2O3–V2O5 glass on microwave dielectric properties of (Pb, Ca, La)(Fe, Nb)O3 (PCLFN) ceramics were investigated as a function of sintering temperature from 950 to 1100 °C. Pure PCLFN ceramics sintered at 1150 °C showed the dielectric constant (K) of 103, Qf of 5640 GHz and TCF of 7.1 ppm °C−1. The sintering temperature of the specimens with the glass reduced to ∼1050 °C without the degradation of microwave dielectric properties. Qf values were not changed drastically with the glass content. For the specimens with 1.0 wt.% glass sintered at 1050 °C for 3 h, K, Qf and TCF were 101, 5400 GHz and 5.9 ppm °C−1, respectively.
