  • Abstract
    Human hair was used as template for the synthesis of mesoporous silica tubes. This was accomplished by immersing the human hair in the precursor solution of mesoporous silica then calcining in air. Products showed not only tubular morphology at micron scale but also mesophase at nanometer scale.
