Research on the impregnation behaviour of the micro-braided thermoplastic matrix

Micro-braided yarn was prepared by using glass bundle, the reinforcement material, as the axial fibres and polypropylene filaments, the matrix, as the shell. The impregnation behaviour of the thermoplastic polypropylene during fabrication was investigated.
