Abstract :
In this work, an analytical solver has been developed to evaluate the mass, momentum and energy transfer from the high pressure (generally cold) side to the low pressure (generally hot) side of a multiperforated plate. This solver has been implemented into a CFD code to connect the boundary conditions on both sides of the plate. It takes into account the thermal behaviour of the cooling device through the analytical resolution of a differential equation for the plate and fluid temperature through the holes. The goal is to develop a robust and simple yet accurate model that can take effusion cooling into account. The behaviour of the model was evaluated with respect to some parameters. The model was then applied to a complex geometry.
