Abstract :
Two new triterpenes having a 19-hydroxyursolic acid skeleton were isolated from ‘Uña de Gato’ (Uncaria tomentosa), a traditional herbal medicine in Peru. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic analyses and chemical conversion.
