  • Abstract
    Three new metabolites, anthrasteroids, have been isolated from the mycelia of a hybrid strain, KO 0231, prepared by cell fusion technique using Penicillium citreo-viride IFO 6200 and 4692. Their structures were determined based on their spectral data. Furthermore, these natural products were synthesized starting from ergosterol.
