Abstract :
Allylic alcohols undergo an efficient process of diastereoselective epoxidation by t-butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) in n-hexane solution in the presence of catalytic amounts of mono- and bis-cyclopentadienyl titanium(IV) and zirconium(IV) chlorides.
