Abstract :
Novel sesquiterpenoid quinones, dactyloquinone C (), D () and E (), each possessing a unique cyclic-ether moiety, were isolated from the Okinawan sponge Dactylospongia elegans. Structural determination in each case was made based on spectroscopic data.
