Abstract :
An X-ray crystallographic study elucidated the structure of the inclusion complex TADDOL ·(R)-2-benzylcyclohexanone (). The study disclosed that the assembly of the host molecule ingeniously includes the guest molecule via hydrogen bonding and van der Waals contacts.
