Abstract :
A new methodology has been developed for the catalytic epoxidation of cyclic vinylsilanes using a ruthenium(II) bisoxazoline complex with molecular oxygen. An attempt has been made to understand the role of –SiMe3 group on the rate of epoxidation process.
