Pseudopterosins P–V, new compounds from the gorgonian octocoral Pseudopterogorgia elisabethae from Providencia island, Colombian Caribbean

Seven new diterpene glycosides, pseudopterosins P (), Q (), R (), S (), T (), U () and V () along with two known compounds PsG and PsK have been isolated from the methanol/dichloromethane extract of the gorgonian octocoral Pseudopterogorgia elisabethae collected off Providencia Island, Colombian Caribbean. The structures of the new metabolites, including their relative and absolute configuration, were established by MS and NMR spectroscopic studies as well as their conversion to known compounds.
