Abstract :
A new method of vibroacoustic diagnostics of the fatigue longevity of automobile springs, based on the use of the information entropy roinimax criterion, is analyzed. It is shown that the spectral components of vibrations concentrate in the low-frequency region of the spectrum, and the degree of concentration depends on the residual service life of the spring, A relation between the spring material fatigue curve slope and the limiting slopes of the obtained curves is established.
