Abstract :
The selenohydroxylation of 1,2-allenyl sulfoxides with PhSeCl in MeCN/H2O (10/1) afforded E-3-hydroxy-2-phenylseleno-1-alkenyl sulfoxides in good yields and high regio-/stereoselectivities.
