Abstract :
Techniques for calibrating a measuring device and measuring residual stresses, as well as a method for determining and taking into account the errors due to calibration and measurement, are proposed. The adopted system of assumptions supposes that the distribution of residual stresses in the hole depth can be described by a polynomial in the latter.
