USE OF THE METHOD OF DISCRETIZATION OF MECHANICAL BASIS OF MODAL ANALYSIS IN STUDYING THEIR VIBRATIONS

We obtain a new approximate method for studying the vibrations of mechanical systems with distributed parameters and propose a general technique for constructing the discrete mechanical models of these systems. The method makes it possible to completely account for the first n vibration modes of the system and to approximately account for the remaining modes on the basis of the quasi-static approach. The high effectiveness of the method is shown in solving several problems that are of practical importance in machine building.
