    A general and efficient method has been developed for the synthesis of meso- and (beta)-perfluoroalkyl-substituted porphyrins via Pd-catalyzed crosscoupling reaction of meso- and (beta)-brominated porphyrins with perfluoroalkyl iodides and copper.
