Abstract :
A highly effective, easy to handle, and environmentally benign process for palladium-mediated Suzuki cross-coupling was developed. The in situ prepared three-component system of Pd(OAc)2, 1,3dialkyltetrahydrodiazepinium chlorides (2a-e), and K2CO3 catalyzes quantitatively the Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling of deactivated aryl chloride.
