Abstract :
A range of alkyl- and alkenylcyclopropanecarboxylic acid ethyl esters has been stereoselectively prepared by treatment of substituted (alpha)-diethoxyphosphoryl-(gamma)-lactones with sodium ethoxide in tetrahydrofuran.
