Abstract :
Compared with traditional industrial wastewater, alkali reduction wastewater, which is characterized with sodium terephthalate as the main pollutant, has much higher organic concentration and pH. It cannot be treated directly by biological or physical-chemical methods. In this work, separation process of TA from alkali reduction wastewater by acidation and simple refining process of recovered TA were studied. The results showed that this method could not only decrease CODcr of the wastewater greatly, but also gain pure TA. In addition, the use of recovered TA and the profit of this process were analyzed in this paper.
