ON A NEW TREATMENT OF THE PHENOMENON OF DYNAMIC SEIZURE IN SELF-BREAKING SYSTEMS

The phenomenon of dynamic seizure in so-called self-breaking systems, i.e. systems with essentially imperfect ties, is considered. It prevents simultaneous motion of the links of a system for a certain relation between its parameters. A new approach that permits treating the transition of a clearance-free self-breaking system to the dynamic-seizure mode not as an instantaneous halt, but as an infinitely attenuating impact process analogous to sliding, is proposed.
