Abstract :
The current research surveys the educational advancement (reading ability) and the behavioral situation of unapt students of elementary consolidated schools of Babol county and comparing them with normal students in educational year of 2012-2013 through the use of scientific-comparative methodology, on 148 students (73 unapt students and 75 normal students) which were chosen by random sampling. Research tools consist of Raven’s colored progressive matrices, reading test and Rater Behavior Rating Scale for Teachers. The t-test results for two independent groups showed that educational advancement (reading ability) of the borderline students is significantly weaker than the normal students. Also the t-test results for the two independent groups showed that behavioral problems of the unapt students are significantly more than the normal students. But, there was no difference observable between the educational situation and the behavioral situation of the boys and girls unapt students.
