Abstract
This paper presents a complex fuzzy logic approach for control of a single-shaft micro turbine (SSMT) in distributed generation (DG) systems. The main parameters of control in a SSMT are speed, temperature, and acceleration. Moreover, these parameters are in nonlinear relations with output DC voltage of the rectifier. To investigate the behavior of the SSMT, an analytical relationship between parameters is required. Therefore, mathematical model of the SSMT with DG system has been studied. A PI controller will control three-phase output voltage and frequency of the inverter. Complex fuzzy logic control method acts on the speed, temperature, and DC voltage as input parameters. The output of the fuzzy logic system is fuel demand. The presented method has been simulated by MATLAB/SIMULINK for SSMT in DG system. The results show that the proposed approach satisfies control fuel demand.
