Abstract
We present evidence for localized and delocalized electrons in the different phases of A1C60 from 13C NMR. The phases discussed are the: polymeric phase, dimer phase and simple cubic phase. The analysis of the 13C NMR spectra provides a map of the wavefunction of the conduction electrons, identification of sp3 carbons in the bonding regions and details of anisotropic molecular reorientation.
