Role of Regional sport tourism event of the thriving small and medium businesses: A Case Study in Khorasan Bachukhe Wrestling

This research has accomplished with the purpose of considering attraction situation of sponsors for celebration of native-traditional competition of Bachukhe wrestling and attraction of tourist after celebration this competition in the Khorasan Province and their relation with each other. This research has related to correlation and causal-comparative research’s and has achieved in the way of survey. The Samples included: athletics’ managers (physical education departments, councils and federation of Bachukhe wrestling) and managers of tourism (cultural inheritance and tourism organization) seven area of celebrant of competitions (Isfaraien, Sabzevar, Quchan, Shirvan, Barghamad, Hokm abad, Rivadeh) and also financial sponsors of this competitions (owners of small and medium business). One of the two questionnaires, one special for managers of competition celebration and the other for owners of financial sponsor’s of this competitions (spring 2012) have been utilized for collecting of information and data which had used by Lamont in inquiry as “Small and medium business sponsorship of regional sport tourism”. After collecting data, at first, descriptive statistics has accounted and presented in form of tables. Then, by using of V Kramer test and Pearson’s correlation coefficient, research hypotheses have been examined. Result showed that the most amount of absorption of tourist, financial sponsors, financial fund of financial protectors and also fund of athletic tourist was in Bachukhe wrestling competitions of Isfaraien. But the most proportion of fund absorption concerning tourist absorption was special to Bachukhe wrestling competitions of Sabzevar. Researcher finds to this conclusion in part of inferential statistics in first hypothesis which a direct relation exist between celebration a regional athletic event and arrival of tourist to that region (P=0/002) and also in second hypothesis, a meaningful and direct relation exist between amount of income of region’s small and medium business and numbers of tourist attraction (P=0/002).
