Abstract :
We study here the sensitivity of the imaging reconstruction problem of the CONSERT experiment with respect to a priori information. We give this a priori information in the form of a priori covariance matrices of the expected permittivity perturbation in the nucleus. We analyze the impact of different covariance models. We also construct a covariance model and show that the inversion result is not too sensitive to the exact form of the a priori covariance, provided that the covariance takes into account an a priori variance and correlation length.
