SIRTF and NASAʹs origins program Original Research Article

This short paper summarizes the plans for NASAʹs Space Infrared Telescope Facility (SIRTF) mission and provides a brief overview of NASAʹs Origins program. SIRTF is a key element of the Origins program, which is a scientific initiative aimed at understanding the origins of galaxies, stars, planets, and - ultimately - of life.
