COROT: A minisat for pionnier science, asteroseismology and planets finding Original Research Article

COROT belongs to the minisat program of the french space agency CNES. It has two main scientific programmes: asteroseismology and search for extrasolar planets. The main characteristics of the mission as well as the necessary adaptation to the minisat constraints are described.
