Field configuration around large flux ropes in the solar corona and inner heliosphere Original Research Article

Our recently developed method, how to determine analytically a magnetic field distribution in the vicinity of a large flux rope, is used to describe field disturbances for few typical examples. The disturbed field is treated as a combination of a pre-existing one and an additional current-free part.
